Miami has some of the BEST food in Florida, and it’s no surprise why - we’re a go-to spot for Latin Cuisine, American Diners, and some of the most delicious Caribbean food you’ll find. Here’s three MUST TRY restaurants that are only a few miles away from the convention center:
- Versailles: Croquettes, Plantains, Empanadas, and more - if you love Cuban food, you’ll love Versailles. Versailles Restaurant is located on Southwest 8th Street, in the heart of Miami’s Cuban Community. Make sure you check out their weekly specials for some delicious food at a great price! Cost: $-$$ - With their daily special you can enjoy a good meal under $15. - Eating House: For a unique meal you can’t find anywhere else, check out this Miami go-to spot. An eclectic combination of casual yet fine dining, American cuisine, some Asian flare, and a touch of Latin bang there’s a little something for everyone here. Cost: $$-$$$ - Prices range from $15 - $30, but there’s plenty available for under $20. - Ortanique on the Mile: A Caribbean fine dining restaurant that has been around since 1999, and it’s no wonder why! If you love fine dining and delicious Caribbean food, this is the place for you. Put on your favorite black dress and heels, and head over for happy hour - be ready for a gourmet treat! Cost: $$$ - A bit pricier, with meals averaging about $25-$35.
