ROSE ROYALE - SCULPTURE PALETTE KNIFE PAINTING (Fri, 9am-6pm) - SoFlo Cake & Candy Expo

Rose Royale is a variation of our Sculpture Palette Knife Painting class. This elegant cake design exudes Royalty as a result of a well thought combination of Navy Blue colour and beautifully structured Roses. In this class, we will get you through a thorough and comprehensive teaching on how to achieve the stunning Roses of different looks using nothing else but your palette knives and buttercream. The Roses will look realistic because of its 3D look and lovely textures. These striking blue flowers will be looking more striking as you will decorate it on a White covered cake.

In this class you will:

• Learn more about your palette knives

• Learn how to correctly hold your palette knife to be able to achieve sculptured palette knife painted designs.

• Learn how to correctly do the sculpture palette knife technique.

• Learn how to create open and sided Roses as well as Rose bud and leaves using Sculpture palette knife painting technique.

• Learn how to position the flowers and the leaves for proper placements.

- Learn how to incorporate scrolls to add character on your cake.

Students will break for a 1-hour lunch. 

• All class tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

• All classrooms are on the second floor of MACC.

• You will need a general admission ticket in order to register for classes, including classes hosted on Friday.

• The vendor hall will not be open on Friday, and is only open Saturday & Sunday.

• Classes will begin promptly at the time scheduled.

• Saturday and Sunday there will be a two two-hour break from 1:00-3:00 to allow time for lunch, shopping, raffle drawings and contest results.

• All class materials and tools are included for classroom use only, unless otherwise noted. Students will NOT keep any tools used in class. Each student will be provided with a box to take home your completed class project.

• No children or guests allowed in classrooms. Only registered students will be permitted inside the class area.

In the event that the minimum student enrollment requirement is not reached by the specified deadline, the class will be cancelled. Affected students will promptly receive notification and will be provided with a  complete refund for the class/demo.
