Love Your Anemones (Sun, 8am-12pm)- Soflo Cake and Candy Expo

No pairing of anemone and craspedia would be complete without a little echeveria now would it? What in carnation?!

No matter what you call them, we're going to cultivate new skills as we create these blooming beauties.

In this class we will pipe florals and succulents in a variety of sizes to adorn our charming set of 5 cookies decorated with royal icing. All supplies needed will be provided for use in class with several Arty McGoo brand tools (including a McGooGoo stick and a floral tip) for you to keep.

You will leave with 5 gorgeous cookies, a variety of awesome techniques that you can use again and again, and a new bouquet of cookie friends. Some of the main cookie skills we will explore:

floral piping

succulent piping

scale

wood plank texture

wafer paper accents

transfers

airbrushing

This class is fun for everyone! While some cookie decorating experience is helpful, most techniques used in this class are quite forgiving and beginners to experienced cookers are welcome. I will guide every step of the way as we create this cheerful set. I'm so excited to cookie with you!

 

• All class tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

• All classrooms are on the second floor of MACC.

• You will need a general admission ticket in order to register for classes, including classes hosted on Friday.

• The vendor hall will not be open on Friday, and is only open Saturday & Sunday.

• Classes will begin promptly at the time scheduled.

• Saturday and Sunday there will be a two two-hour break from 1:00-3:00 to allow time for lunch, shopping, raffle drawings and contest results.

• All class materials and tools are included for classroom use only, unless otherwise noted. Students will NOT keep any tools used in class. Each student will be provided with a box to take home your completed class project.

• No children or guests allowed in classrooms. Only registered students will be permitted inside the class area.

In the event that the minimum student enrollment requirement is not reached by the specified deadline, the class will be cancelled. Affected students will promptly receive notification and will be provided with a  complete refund for the class/demo.
